Not strictly necessary
01 — How it started
We got tired of gifts that felt like an obligation.
Too many gift guides lead to the same safe, forgettable things. Too many stores treat fun as something people are supposed to outgrow.
KidultLand started with a simpler idea: adults deserve objects that make them pause, smile and ask, ‘Where did you find that?’ So we search for things with personality—some useful, some wonderfully unnecessary, and all more interesting than another generic present.
